QR Code Barcode (Quick Response Barcode)
Designed by Denso in Japan, QR (Quick Response) Code barcode is a 2 dimensional general-purpose matrix designed for fast scanning of information.
As QR efficiently encodes Kanji characters, it is a popular symbology in Japan.
QR Code Barcode symbols are square in shape and can easily be identified by their finder pattern of nested alternating dark and light squares at three corners of the symbol.
QR Code is capable of 360 degree (omni-directional), high speed reading. QR Code accomplishes this task through position detection patterns located at the three corners of the symbol. These position detection patterns guarantee stable high-speed reading, circumventing the negative effects of background interference.
