Barcode Properties - Counter Tab

This option should be selected if a user-defined counter is
to be used for the barcode data. The format of the counter string is
customizable in the following ways.
Prefix - characters or numbers to be
attached to the beginning of the barcode string
Update after print - if checked, the last
value printed will be remembered and the Start value will be adjusted
accordingly next time
Suffix - characters or numbers to be
attached to the end of the barcode string
Start - the first number to start with in
the series/counter
Number System - the number system to use,
select from the following

Decimal - the standard decimal
system

Alphabetic - the English
alphabet (uppercase)

Alphabetic (L) - the English
alphabet (lowercase)

Binary - the binary number
system (base 2)

Octal - the octal number
system (base 8)

Hexadecimal - the hexadecimal
number system (uppercase, base 16)

Hexadecimal(L) - the
hexadecimal number system (lowercase, base 16)

AlphaNumBase36 - the base 36
number system (uppercase)
-
AlphaNumBase36 (L) - the base
36 number system (lowercase)
Step - the increment or decrement values
Step Direction - whether to increment or
decrement
Digits - number of zeros or space to pad
Padding - the type of padding to use
Minimum - the minimum value of the sequence
Maximum - the maximum value of the sequence
Show first 10 - display a dialog box to show
the first ten entries in the series.
Field Name - name of the input field. This variable name
can be used in the Linked Field feature. For example, you can have two fields,
one is Serial Number, the other, Part Number. This two fields are given
the field names serial
and part. In the
Linked Field feature,
the data of this two fields can be combined together to form a new field.
