Barcode Properties - Human Readable Tab |
This tab will only be visible for barcodes that support human readable text. Select the required barcode symbology from the Code Type Tab.
Name - The name of the font to use
Size - The size of the font to use
Choose Font - Click on this button to bring up the Font Property Dialog as shown below. This allows the font properties like Font, Font Style, Size and Script to be setup.
- Standard - the extended barcode lines do not surround the text
- Extended - the extended barcode lines surround the text
- Top - the text will appear above the barcode
- Bottom - the text will appear below the barcode
- Left - the text will be left aligned
- Center - the text will be centered
- Right - the text will be right aligned
- Justified - the text will be expanded to occupy the entire barcode width
Display Text - check to display the human readable data on the barcode if applicable
Check Digit - check to include the check digit in the barcode text. The check digit is a digit added to a barcode to help verify that it has been scanned correctly. The check digit is calculated based on the value of the barcode's other digits and helps to ensure that the scanned data is correct.
Start/Stop Characters - check to display the start/stop characters if applicable. Some barcode symbologies use a predefined character to signal the beginning and end of the barcode data.
