Text File Schema - Date Tab

Format - Choose from a set of commonly used date format.

Pattern - Displays the currently selected date string format. This field is modifiable if the Customize option is checked. After which you can enter your own pattern for the date format. See the Customize option below for the list of patterns used for customizing date string format.

Customize - Check on this option to customize the Date in your own format. The pattern to customize the different format is described below. A combination of the patterns below will result in a particular format of the date.

• D Date of the month (compact, e.g., 8)
• DD Date of the month (fixed 2 digits, e.g., 08)
• DDD Day of the week (3 letters, e.g., Sat)
• DDDD Day of the week (completely spelled, e.g., Saturday)
• M Month in numeric format (compact, e.g., 8)
• MM Month in numeric format (fixed 2 digits, e.g., 08)
• MMM Month spelled out (3 letters, e.g., JAN)
• MMMM Month spelled out (completely, e.g., January)
• YY Year (2 digit format, e.g., 99)
• YYYY Year (4 digit format, e.g., 1999)
