Text File Schema - Format Tab |
First Line Header - check this option if the first line of the text file contains the field header.
Delimiter - select one of the following as delimiter
- Comma
- Tab
- Others - a text box will become visible for you to key in a character to be used as the delimiter.
- Fixed Length
Text Field Identifier - select one of the following characters as the identifier for text field.
- Double Quote
- Single Quote
- None
- Others - a text box will become visible for you to key in a character to be used as the field identifier.
Rows Terminated by Carriage Return - this option will only be visible when you choose Fixed Length for the Delimiter. It is used to indicate whether to go to the next line after reading in a fixed length field from the file.
Character Set - select one of the following character sets to be used in the database
